Virtual People’s Pitch Event

On May 14th, we hosted our 6th Annual People’s Pitch Event to support youth-social entrepreneurs in Oakland.  Due to COVID-19, the 2020 People’s Pitch Event was held via zoom and streamed live on Facebook. You can watch a recording of the entire event by clicking here.

9 teams of youth social entrepreneurs (ages 18-24) from the Youth Hub Fellowship Program presented their proposals for social enterprises to create equity in low-income communities. Each team pitched to a panel of local community leaders for at least $1000 each in seed funding!
